VJ Technology Appoint New CFO

Hedley has enjoyed an illustrious career since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and entering the world of finance 32 years ago, so we are delighted to welcome him to the VJ Technology team.
Hedley raised and invested the Baring’s English Growth Fund, a UK-based private equity fund. This successful venture, in which he was a partner for 11 years, was followed by his appointment as Finance Director at Octopus Investments. In 2010, he became CFO at System C Healthcare PLC, and after selling the company a year later, he joined Anesco as CFO. Anesco was named as the fastest growing company in the UK and placed top of the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league table for two years in a row, only the second time this has ever been achieved in the history of the awards.
Hedley said: “I’ve been on both sides of the finance fence, as I’ve run my own investment funds and helped build private equity-based companies. I love the finance sector and I’m excited at the speed with which VJ Technology is growing. I’ve been given an exceptional opportunity to nurture that growth and ensure the company continues to flourish.”
Prior to joining VJ Technology, Hedley was CFO at Invicta Law, a spin out of the Kent County Council’s legal team of 130 lawyers which provides legal services for the wider public sector. Hedley, 54, who lives near Cranbrook in Kent, added: “I’m going to enjoy the challenge of taking VJ Technology to the next level in terms of financial growth. The company is already in superb shape, so it’s a case of building on the platform I’ve been lucky enough to inherit. The team here is tremendous and I’ve every faith we will meet and exceed the challenge presented to us.”
