We are pleased to announce VJ Technology’s acquisition of Mainline Products Ltd, with effect from 28 May 2019.

As one of the market-leading distributors of technical fixings, fasteners and services to the UK construction and civil engineering sectors, this is particularly exciting for VJ Technology as it is the first acquisition as an independent company, backed by our investors, Primary Capital. The acquisition of Mainline, with its high-quality products and services, signals to the market our intention to make strategic investments in growth and continue to focus on achieving customer service excellence.

Established in 1991 and based in Newcastle under Lyme, Mainline has grown to become one of the leading specialist suppliers of coloured fasteners, profiles and accessories to the rainscreen façade industry. Their unrivalled colour matching ability, coating quality, and product availability within a few working days, sets them aside in the UK façades market. Mainline’s coating also meets with UK, European and International standards and has received an accredited 25-year warranty on all its coloured parts.

In addition to their strong market position, Mainline has built a highly respected brand and secured orders based on efficient lead times for their quality product and a compact, “family” business approach to their customer relationships. Due to the strength of the brand, there will be no rebranding of the company name and we will be proud to refer to this section of the business as ‘Mainline Products, part of the VJ Technology Group’.

The current team at Mainline will also remain unchanged and combining their experience and knowledge of the façades market with our own will put VJ Technology in a strong position to drive growth in the façades market.
