Mark Tomlin Chairman

Following a strong first half trading in 2021 and as we enter the second half of the year, Mark Tomlin, CEO of VJ Technology, has made the decision to become Executive Chairman of VJT.  Effective immediately, Mark’s main role will be to support the business as required and ensure we continue to head in the right direction, driving strong growth, whilst working closely with our customers and suppliers.

Mark commented, “With the full support of Primary Capital our investors, I have decided to make some changes to the way the business is currently being managed.  These changes are to ensure we are completely focussed on the opportunities that the market presents, delivering excellent customer service and unrivalled technical support.  I have reflected on what a great team we have at VJT and how we have managed throughout the pandemic.  We invested heavily in new systems and processes during 2019, which ultimately have proven to be very positive for the business, our customers and suppliers.  We are in a strong position now and I am personally very excited about some of the projects we have been working on that have recently, or will soon come to fruition, including VJT Online; our new online trading platform, a new CRM system, Transport Management System (TMS), Mainline Products Online and both Mainline and VJT have brand new websites.”

Andrew Mobbs CEO

Andrew Mobbs will take up the role of CEO with immediate effect, he will be responsible for the day to day running of the VJ Technology Group, taking the business to the next level and delivering strong growth.

Andrew commented, “Having joined VJ Technology 18 months ago it quickly became apparent that it is a fantastic business, with a dedicated team, offering industry leading products and excellent customer service. With both VJT and Mainline celebrating their 30th birthday this year and many exciting initiatives in the pipeline, I look forward to continuing the Groups growth.  I’d like to thank Mark for the great position he has put the Group in and look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role.”
